Do you feel like you keep repeating the same unhelpful patterns—whether in your thoughts, habits, or relationships? Through CBT therapy, we provide mental health support to individuals seeking to uncover what’s driving these cycles and create lasting change with effective talking therapy.
Hi, I’m Adrianna, a trained CBT therapist based in Edinburgh. I provide mental health support to help individuals navigate life’s challenges and become the best version of themselves through effective talking therapy.
My interest in psychology began at college when I first studied the subject and became fascinated by how people think, feel, and relate to one another. This passion led me to complete a BA in Psychology and Dance, followed by an MSc in Psychological Research, specializing in Social Psychology.
After working in research, I realized I wanted to move beyond analyzing data and focus instead on providing direct support to individuals. I went on to complete a Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork, which allows me to assist clients in a more personal, immediate, and meaningful way.
My experience has shaped a deep respect for each person’s individual story. I’m particularly experienced in offering CBT therapy to support people dealing with anxiety, low mood, stress, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.

We offer CBT therapy, a practical and well-researched talking therapy that helps you recognize patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how these influence your daily life.
CBT therapy can support you to identify any unhelpful patterns, gain new perspectives, and develop practical tools for mental health support to manage everyday challenges. The focus is on building skills that help you respond differently and create meaningful, lasting change.
Sessions are available online and in person, and therapy can be short-term or longer-term depending on your needs and goals. We also offer a free initial consultation, giving you the opportunity to see if we are the right fit for you.
Our approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, compassion, and non-judgment. We create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore any topic and build the skills and tools they need to thrive.

You don’t need to be in crisis or have a clear diagnosis to start therapy. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, low, or simply want a better understanding of yourself or your relationships, therapy can be helpful. Many people come to therapy to talk through life changes, emotional challenges, or patterns they’d like to change. If you’re unsure, we can explore this together in an initial session.
Before therapy, it can be helpful to think about the goals you want to achieve - think about what your biggest challenges are and what you would like life to be like once the issue you are facing is resolved. Beyond that, no preparation is needed.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what has brought you to therapy, any factors contributing to your difficulties, and what you would like to change. Together, we’ll begin to identify goals and clarify how you would like to feel and experience life by the end of therapy. You are also welcome to ask any questions — about me, CBT, or what to expect from the therapeutic process I provide.
The duration of therapy differs for each person. In CBT, the focus is on equipping you with practical skills and tools so that, over time, you can manage challenges independently — essentially becoming your own therapist. Some clients benefit from short-term therapy to address a specific concern, while others prefer longer-term work to explore deeper or ongoing issues. We will regularly check in together to ensure the pace and approach continue to meet your needs.
Sessions are usually held once a week to help build momentum and consistency. Depending on your needs and circumstances, we can also schedule sessions every two weeks or adjust the frequency as therapy progresses. It’s important to remember that therapy is most effective when you’re actively engaged, not just during sessions but also in any reflective or practical tasks we explore between meetings. Because of this, it may feel like therapy takes more time than just the hour in the session — however, your commitment and consistency are key to making meaningful progress.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we ask for at least 24-hour notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged at the full rate. This policy helps ensure fairness and allows the space to be offered to other clients.
